POLITICS lecturers and students at the University of Huddersfield have played a leading role in the development of an exciting project helping to make sure that the voters of tomorrow are ready and able to play their full part in local democracy.

The strategy recognised that education was key to improving defences against hackers and online fraud.
Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude said internet cyber security was a "crucial part" of the government's long-term plan for the British economy.
He said the courses would help to make the "UK one of the safest places in the world to do business online".

Schools in England have been told to expect big variations in their GCSE results because of the largest set of changes to exams for several years.
Exams regulator Ofqual said a return to end-of-course exams and alterations to key exams signal "more variability" than usual at school level.
A dramatic fall in the number of pupils sitting GCSE maths and English early was also likely to have an impact.
