University of Lincoln

Discover the University of Lincoln

Since being opened by Her Majesty the Queen, the University of Lincoln has put students at the heart of everything we do. While climbing more places in university league tables than almost any other institution, the University has revitalised a brownfield site, created 3,000 new jobs and doubled the size of the local economy.

World-class teaching and research

The University has established an international reputation for the quality of teaching and research, with academics and students working together on major projects across areas as varied as cancer treatment, water conservation and low-carbon technology.

Excellent graduate employment

As many as 92 per cent of our graduates were in employment or further study within six months of graduating, according to the latest survey. We are committed to ensuring our students are prepared for a successful career through work placements, internships, volunteering research and connections with industry.

High student satisfaction

The University of Lincoln is placed in the top quarter of the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2013, with many courses including Accountancy and Finance (which has been ranked top in the country for five years running), Journalism and Psychology placing in the top twenty.

Historic city centre location

University of Lincoln students enjoy the unique benefit of being in a compact, safe and friendly campus environment that is located in the heart of a vibrant, historic city and within easy reach of all local amenities.

State-of-the-art facilities

We have invested £140 milllion in our waterfront Brayford Pool campus to provide students with cutting edge facilities, from eye-tracking laboratories and human performance centres, to moot halls and a model pharmacy.
